European Union as a Trendsetter in Digital Regulations
In recent years, the European Union (EU) has adopted a number of pieces of legislation regulating the digital space, whether it is regulating cybersecurity, data protection, consumer contracts, artificial intelligence, intellectual property rights, or digital services and markets. One of the key elements of these regulations is that they often have a significant impact on players entering the European market and also influence legislation in third countries.
